Hello from Jampuk Read
Why this notebook exists - short principal-written notes on shipping secure, compliant AI systems.
Every company blog opens with a mission statement. This one opens with a constraint: publish only what we can prove.
Jampuk Read is the field notebook of Jampuk Intelligence. The notes are short, written by the principal who does the work, and about the systems we actually ship: secure, compliant, production-grade AI. In practice that means document intelligence, LLM orchestration, and agentic delivery, plus the unglamorous engineering underneath - migrations, code quality, and the operational discipline that keeps a system honest after the demo ends.
A note is small enough to finish in one sitting, concrete enough to be checked, and specific enough to be wrong in a way we can learn from. That last property is the point.
What to expect
The notes will come in three shapes.
- Field reports from engagements: what actually happened, with the constraints that shaped it - a legacy system lifted into containers with its runtime pinned exactly, and the hidden seams that decide whether the application boots at all.
- Research digests on questions that deserve evidence rather than opinion: what repository analytics and controlled studies actually measure about AI-assisted engineering, including the parts the vendor decks omit.
- Build logs of our own systems, starting with this notebook: content in git, a static build served from the edge, and no server to patch.
The same standard we ship on
The rule we apply to client systems applies here too: source of truth in version control, artifacts reproducible from a commit, nothing hand-tuned on a running server, and every claim proved at the end. A notebook about those standards had better follow them, so this one does, and its build log will be one of the next notes here.
There is no editorial calendar. Notes will appear when a project closes, a study is worth summarizing, or a build is worth recording. If that is the kind of engineering you want applied to your systems, start at the main website or read the principal profile. Otherwise, subscribe by RSS and read what comes next.
